Restorations
I also enjoy working on old broken synths and doing my best to fix them up. My first restoration was an ARP Odyssey 2813, followed soon after by a Moog Prodigy, and lastly a Moog Little Phatty.
When it came to replacing all the sliders for my Odyssey, I was dissapointed by high cost for the drop in replacements. So, I decided to develope my own ARP Slider methodology utilizing the Bourne 45mm PTA sliders which I am ultimately very happy with. The sliders sit very firmly in place, and sound amazing. I decided to offer the Gerber files and instructions for free for anyone that is interested as a way to give back to the community. All I ask is that if you decide to use my files, please send some photos as I love to see these old synths coming back to life.
You can find all Gerber files and supporting documentation here.
Be sure to watch the installation guide below for guidance on how to create the adapter board.
